Mrs. Karla Zuercher
Owner and Chief Instructor

Karla Zuercher is a 5th degree Black Belt and fully certified instructor of Choong Sil Taekwondo Federation (CTF). While she started her training to enjoy the activity with her boys, she found her home in the martial arts world. For most of her life, she has served as a teacher of children and adults in various capacities. With a passion for teaching, she is extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with students and families. She enjoys watching them grow and learn life lessons through their training.

Ms. Zuercher has won several US CTF National Championships, and has competed with the United State CTF International Team twice, winning a bronze medal in England at the 2023 World Championships.

Mr. Tim Grove
Assistant Instructor

Tim Grove received his 4th degree Black Belt in June of 2021. He has been involved with Taekwondo almost his whole life and is a dedicated martial artist. With more than 15 years of competition experience, Mr. Grove has won many medals at national and international competitions across the world. He is a ranking member of the United State CTF Taekwondo Team, and spares his experience and knowledge with the students he teaches. Though young, he has taught Taekwondo for more than 10 years and continues to devote his life to his students at Franklin Family Taekwondo.

Mrs. Stephanie Stanley
Assistant Instructor

Stephanie Stanley received her 2nd degree Black Belt in February of 2022. She has always enjoyed teaching fitness classes for people of all ages. Now, as an assistant instructor, she continues her Taekwondo journey through teaching and assisting in classes and camps. While she does not compete in tournaments, you can always find her on the sideline supporting our Taekwondo Family.

Ms. Amanda Brunotts                                           
Assistant Instructor

Amanda Brunotts is a 2nd degree Black Belt and Assistant Instructor at Franklin Family Taekwondo. She has won multiple CTF National Championships and pursues joining the CTF International Team. With her wide variety of life experiences, she continually steps up as more than just an instructor, but also as a positive role model and guide for the students at Franklin Family Taekwondo.
